Fun on the sportfield for Dundee High

DHS learners excel in many codes of sport.

On Saturday, May 12, DHS travelled to Vryheid to compete against Vryheid High School. It was an amazing day with lots of competition and excitement. The scores were as follows:
Rugby: u/14 won 17-15; u/16 lost 14-0; u/15 lost 22-7 and Zorba lost 38-17.
Netball: u/14 A won 13-9; u/14 B lost 2-11; u/15A lost 2-30; u16A lost 11-15; u16B lost 2-11; 2nd team lost 8-10; First team won 26-23.
Hockey: Boys: Second team lost 2-1; first team won 2-0. Girls: u/14 won 2-0; u/16 drew 0-0; 2nd team won 1-0; first team won 2-0. The school would like to thank all the educators for their hard work and dedication as well as the learners who showed initiative and passion for their respective sports. Well done DHS! DHS would also like to congratulate the following learners for their outstanding achievements in hockey:
Ndumiso Botha was selected to form part of the u/19 Inland B side. Well done! This is a very admirable achievement due to all the competition.
The following girls went through to the last round of country districts and Inlands trials: u/14 Inlands – Ziyanda Madondo; u/16 Inlands Zama Khoza; u/16 Country Districts – Elicia van der Merwe; u/18 Country Districts – Gabby Carter.
