Jailed for 10 years for armed robbery

The robber pretended to be looking for a job

Mzwandile Sithole (39) from Mayflower in the Mpumalanga Province has been found guilty and convicted to 10 years imprisonment for robbery.
In December 2015, Sithole was one of two men who pretended to be looking for a job at a Dannhauser business owner’s home.

One of the men then drew a firearm and forced the homeowner inside where they robbed him of R1 000 before fleeing.
The Dannhauser SAPS were called and responded swiftly.

Together with the victim, they gave chase and apprehended Mzwandile Sithole. He was sentenced by the Dundee Regional Court on April 13 to 10 years in jail for the robbery.
