UPDATE: ESS classrooms razed by lightning, make a pledge to help

We challenge all locals and businesses to pledge in cash or building material donations towards the school

A week ago Estcourt Secondary School (ESS) learners were met with a shocking sight. Grade 12 classes were engulfed by fire, unfortunately leaving four extensively destroyed.

The school was led to believe that the blaze broke out at approximately 11pm last Tuesday and  initial reports indicate the cause as ‘lightning’.

With the first term Controlled Exams underway, the school is in dire need of rebuilding the classrooms and helping them function.

Estcourt Secondary School  welcomes and would appreciate any form of assistance.

For more information kindly contact the school on 036 352 5001 during school hours.

We challenge all locals and businesses to pledge in cash or building material donations towards the school.
