Huge Mozambique Spitting Cobra found in children’s play area

The snake was seen slithering menacingly around the play area

A massive Mozambique Spitting Cobra was found in the children’s play area at Wimpy Park on Sunday (March 11).

The snake was seen slithering menacingly around the play area, where many kids were innocently playing.

Speaking to local snake expert Fanie Cilliers, he says it was just luck that the snake was spotted in time before any children were bitten.

If this venomous reptile had sunk its fangs into a child’s leg, there could have been tragic consequences.

Fanie added that people need to be extremely careful, as snakes need to eat so they are healthy for the winter months, and therefore they hunt even longer and more efficiently in their territories.
