DJS Athletes makes Dundee proud

Luyanda Kunene broke the record for the U/13 Long Jump

On March 2 and 3, Dundee Junior School’s athletes competed in the KZN School’s Championships at Kings Park Athletics Stadium, Durban.

Luyanda Kunene, Susan Gregory, Aphelele Sibiya, Arno Potgieter, Snakho Ndhlovu, Phiwokuhle Ngobese, Thembelani Nzama, Langelihle Makhathini, Thandolwethu Buthelezi, Bongokuhle Masuku, Anje Grobler and Suzanne Meintjies all competed.

DJS se 12 atlete wat deelgeneem het, het die volgende prestasies behaal: 7 goue medaljes, 6 silwer medaljes en 2 brons medaljes.

Luyanda Kunene broke the record for the U/13 Long Jump, earning himself a spot in the KZN team.  Bongokuhle Masuku also excelled and qualified for the SA Championships. They will be competing in Cape Town at the South African School’s Championship, representing the KZN Athletics team, this coming week! DJS is extremely proud of them.
