Police officers from stations in the Uthukela Cluster recently arrested 21 suspects on possession charges.
Two suspects, aged 26 and 27, were arrested in the Bergville area after officers found them to be in possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The vehicle has since been seized pending further investigation.

18 suspects were found in possession of dagga and were arrested in the Ladysmith, Ezakheni, Estcourt, Weenen, Amangwe, Upper Tugela and Wembezi areas. They were all found in possession of small quantities of dagga.
One suspect was arrested after being found in possession of a clothing iron suspected to have been stolen.
All 21 suspects appeared in various magistrate’s courts throughout the Cluster yesterday (February 20).
