1 injured in car crash in Acaciavale, Ladysmith

Both drivers were given breathalyser tests and the results were clear

A Ford Ranger and a Toyota Tazz collided at the intersection of Coleus Drive and Centenary Road on Friday afternoon (February 16).

The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.

It is believed that one of the vehicles was turning off Centenary Road when the other vehicle crashed into it.

Public Safety and emergency personnel responded to the scene.

Both drivers were given breathalyser tests and the results were clear.

One person in the Tazz sustained slight injuries and was taken to hospital for further medical attention.

A large crowd of onlookers gathered around to see what was going on, as many people were travelling home from work at the time.

The Toyota Tazz had to be towed away.
