Besters detectives are investigating two cases of burglary and theft, and need the community’s help.
The cases relate to the theft of batteries from cell-phone towers.
The incidents occurred in the Driefontein area of Besters.
During the latest incident, 16 batteries were stolen.

The batteries are similar to the ones depicted in the attached photos.
The consequences of removing these batteries can be severe, since it affects telephone communication between all members of the public.
Police are appealing to the community to please come forward with any information they may have in this regard. Anyone who may have seen the batteries, or knows where they may be hidden or sold, is requested to contact Sergeant NM Mabaso on 0366373258
