18-year-old student arrested for business burglary

According to Dannhauser SAPS Communication and Liaison Officer, Sergeant Mfanafuthi Nyembe, the learner had broken a window in order to gain access to a class room.

An 18-year-old learner was arrested for breaking into the Sizimele High School in Nellieville near Dannhauser, on February 10.

According to Dannhauser SAPS Communication and Liaison Officer, Sergeant Mfanafuthi Nyembe, the learner had broken a window in order to gain access to a class room.

He stole items such as text and exercise books, maths instruments, rulers and a school stamp.

“All the property stolen from the school was recovered from the suspect,” Nyembe added.

The learner was caught, arrested and charged with business burglary, and will appear in the Dannhauser Magistrate’s Court soon.

Investigations into this incident are ongoing.
