A man was injured after falling off a moving bakkie on Thursday (February 1) in Crowshaw Street.
The man had been sitting on the back of the bakkie, which was carrying mealie meal.
He was found lying in the middle of the street by emergency personnel who arrived at the scene.
The accident victim was treated for moderate injuries and then taken to hospital.

Public Safety and a towing service responded to the scene.
One lane was closed until the man was taken away to hospital.
