The sky is the limit for Mahloni pupils

Mahloni Primary concluded the year with the Grade R farewell and awards function.

Mahloni Primary concluded the year with the Grade R farewell and awards function on November 28.

Msawenkosi Zwane received a certificate.

Mrs Khumalo was our guest speaker. In her address, she thanked the class of 2017, which had 62 learners. She also commended Miss AT Simelane and Miss SH Sibiya for their hard work in laying the proper foundation in the lives of ‘the giants of the soil’.

She further thanked parents for the roles they play in their children’s education. Her key note address was based on love, and communication.

The principal conveyed his message to the class of 2017 by saying that nothing comes easy in life and hard work does pay. He warned those, who will be going to high school next year, that they are the ambassadors of Mahloni, and that they must represent Mahloni well, demonstrating the school’s reputation for hard work, loyalty and tolerance.

Education is the key to unlocking the unlockable, so the sky is the limit.

This year was the hardest with many ups and downs. Early this year, we visited Sgodiphola Primary for a friendly game. During the third term we lost a Grade 5 learner. As a school, we managed to drill a borehole.

In all this, God was our hallmark. I wish to convey my sincere thanks to all the staff, SGB and parents for their support. I further wish you a merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
