Two people sustained injuries after their vehicles collided in Hardwick Street at about 12.30pm this afternoon (October 5).
Reshma Samlal of TRIVS Medical Services confirmed the collision, and said the patients sustained mild to moderate injuries.
“We [TRIVS] transported one patient with moderate injuries to Newcastle Mediclinic for further medical treatment.”
All emergency personnel were at the scene to conduct further preliminary investigations, to determine the exact cause of the collision.
Motorists are urged to take precautionary measures when travelling today.
