Fundraising for the Little Fighter’s Cancer Trust has become a passion for Sherlene Gericke. From craft markets to raffle tickets, Ms Gericke has been hard at work raising much-needed funds for this organisation that provides support to children suffering from cancer; as well as to their families.

Thus far a total of R5575.80 has been raised from a fundraising market held at the Owl and Elephant on July 1 as well as from a raffle.

Raffle winners are:
Pure Moments photo shoot donated by Jade Oliver was won by Ashleigh Vernall.
Window frame mirror donated by Nicola Muscat was won by A Grewan. Spoon set donated by Quirkey Turkey and Michelle Buys was won by Sylvia Hall.
Walking doll donated by Elise Tillbury was won by Kim Bure.

One more raffle for dinner at the Owl and Elephant is still to be sold.

“A very grateful thank you to all who have supported the Little Fighter’s Cancer Trust. Not forgetting the helpers too, who have spent a lot of time and effort selling raffle tickets and various other activities. Without your support, we could not do this,” said Ms Gericke.
