A cornerstone to help the needy in Ladysmith

If any individual or business would like to make a contribution to Project Cornerstone, please visit reception at the Royal Hotel or contact Mr Bihaspat on 0366330218 after 3pm

On Sunday (September 17), Project Cornerstone co-ordinator Mr K Bihaspat and Mr W Khumalo made their way to the heart of needy communities. This time the team visited C-Section Orphanage in Ezakheni.

Project Cornerstone is one of the community outreach projects undertaken by the Royal Hotel and is directly involved in providing a soup kitchen and distributing lunch packs to communities that are disadvantaged, twice a week for a complete month. Project Cornerstone and team distributed 40 lunch packs consisting of a sandwich, fruit and juice to the children at C-Section Orphanage.

Mr Bihaspat also delivered a motivational message titled the “Love of Jesus” and a song of praise was sung at the end. Mr Bihaspat emphasised that God isn’t going to compare you to anyone else. He has made you to be you. You are His masterpiece and God is going to help you reach your full potential.

“Surely God has not forgotten you! It is a delay by design. God knows what you are going through. He wants to build your character and God wants you to trust in Him. Count on Jesus. Don’t fear,” was the powerful message.

If any individual or business would like to make a contribution to Project Cornerstone, please visit reception at the Royal Hotel or contact Mr Bihaspat on 0366330218 after 3pm.

Thought for the week: “When you’ve done everything you can do, that’s when God will step in and do what you can’t do.” (2 Corinthians 12:10)
