Oppie Plaas Lapa near Utrecht hosted a successful Secretary’s Day celebration this year.
Women from Newcastle and Utrecht arrived in their numbers.
Proceedings got underway with a demonstration by Karen Griffiths, showing female guests how to make different breads from a single recipe.
A selection of homemade breads were also offered with lunch.

The group of women also indulged in rock painting to help spread kindness to the community and sow peace in their own gardens.
Thereafter, a series of lucky draw competitions took place.
The women and Oppie Plaas Lapa thanked its sponsors for generosity in donating prizes for the draws and for the various presentations and activities.
