NTT Nissan Newcastle was crowned the Nissan South Africa Dealer of the Year in the Larger Town category, at the Annual Dealer Awards Evening on September 1.
The prestigious event took place at Theatre on Track, in Kyalami, Gauteng.
This award was to recognise the top performing dealer in the following disciplines:
– New Vehicle Sales vs. Target
– Market share
– Customer satisfaction index
– Model mix, and
– Departmental standards.
Apart from the big win, the dealership also took home awards for New Vehicle Sales of the Year, Valid Value Sales Department of the Year, the Nissan Global Award for Outstanding Performance, and they were named the runner-up in the Customer Satisfaction Dealership Of The Year Award.
This was a proud moment for the team of NTT Nissan Newcastle, after being nominated the Best Group in the Nissan South Africa Awards for the year 2016.
Sales Performance Manager, Deon Rodgers said he felt NTT Nissan Newcastle won the award because Dealer Principal, Leon Wienand believed in the team concept.
“He empowers and equips his management team to take control of their departments, and he always supports them. The NTT Group is also armed with all the basic standards, business rules and ethics in place. Group support also played a role in this achievement.”
Wienand thanked the community for its support, and said if not for its loyal customers, business associates and friends, these awards would never have been received.
