The driver of a heavy motor vehicle crashed into a robot at the intersection of Dry Road and Short Street this afternoon (September 6), knocking it to the ground.
Emergency officials were on scene.
The driver was stabilised at the scene by paramedics and then taken to hospital for further medical treatment.
