Standard bank celebrate customer appreciation with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce
This event was in celebration of the success of Chinese businesses in the Newcastle. It also served to introduce the world’s first Standard Bank Africa China Banking Centre in the African continent.
A customer appreciation event with Standard Bank and Chinese Chamber of Commerce was held at the Ruyi Restaurant, Blackrock Casino on August 16.
This event was in celebration of the success of Chinese businesses in the Newcastle. It also served to introduce the world’s first Standard Bank Africa China Banking Centre in the African continent.
The centre will provide a long-awaited platform that will link African and Chinese clients with China’s highly networked digital banking and customer knowledge systems.
Equipped with staff that are fluent in the Chinese language and cultural capability, the Standard Bank Africa China Banking Centre is a virtual finance hub for both African and Chinese personal and business banking clients.
This system offers seamless consultation and advisory services via telephone, online and email.
Standard Bank Provincial Director, Imraan Noorbhai emphasised the importance of forging strong relationships with the Chinese community in order to increase investment in Newcastle and the create employment.
“Africa is our home, and we drive her growth,” said Noorbhai.
