SANBS pays respects to Dirk Meyer

Mr Meyer was dubbed a 'lifesaver' for donating over 275 pints of blood to the SANBS

Dirk Meyer passed away recently and the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) mourns his loss.

Mr Meyer was dubbed a ‘lifesaver’ for donating over 275 pints of blood to the SANBS. His contribution towards the worthy cause will be sadly missed.

On behalf of the SANBS, local Blood Clinic Co-ordinator Mr Dawoonarain said:

“We pass our deepest condolences to the Meyer family during this difficult time. We are truly gratefully for the contributions Mr Meyer made towards saving the lives of others, as he was a regular blood donor. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
