Man brutally assaulted by business owner in busy Ladysmith street
Many bystanders gathered around the scene to see what was going on
A man was brutally assaulted earlier today (June 22) in Alexandra Street.
This after an altercation between two men.
It is alleged that the man who was assaulted was attacked by a shop owner in the street.
The man was hit on the head with a metal pipe.
Police and Public Safety responded to the scene, and one person was arrested.
Bystanders gathered around to see what was going on.
Traffic flow in the area was slightly obstructed due to the crowds of people in the area.
