How well do you remember the events of 10 years ago?

Ten years ago we had snow. This year it’s just a no.

The paper didn’t have as much municipal mayhem then, but the crime was constant, much like now.

Glencoe residents were left fuming after they were waterless. Despite numerous attempts made to gain comment from Uthukela Water, none was received.

The body of a woman was found in a manhole near TFS. The body was partially covered in water. At the time of going to press, it was unclear whether foul play was involved.

Glencoe Pre-Primary hosted a family fun day with a march through town, adorned with colourful t-shirts and balloons.

Then just 11-years-old, Sahil Byroo was an up and coming drag racer. He became the youngest winner of a trophy when he took first place at a meeting in Swaziland in the ‘burn out’ category.

Sahil is now 21.
