Ramkelawon and Beharie family rejoice at reminiscent reunion

Four generations of the Ramkelawon-Beharie family, a pioneering family in the Newcastle Indian community, recently held their first family reunion on April 30 at the landmark Capricorna Hotel.

The family originally resided in the Tigerskloof area and subsequently lived in Ingogo, before settling in Fairleigh. They were placed in Paradise by the previous government.

Family members from far and wide attended the event. Speakers recalled the glorious past and spoke fondly of their days on a smallholding in Fairleigh.

Entertainment on the day was provided by the talented family members.
