Water leaks in Ladysmith street for over 3 weeks

Residents say they pay their taxes and want the leak to be fixed

Jansen / Schoon Street is faced with a water leak that doesn’t seem to get fixed.

Residents from the area have contacted uThukela on numerous occasions, but with no success.

Residents say the intersection between the two roads has been dug up, making it difficult for motorists.

Residents add that the water is leaking onto the road and into the storm-water drainage system.

They ask why the leak couldn’t be fixed properly the first time.

Motorists who use the road say that a car could easily crash into the hole that was dug.
