Taking on the ‘most beautiful marathon in the world’ has inspired eleven members of the Biggarsberg Athletics Club to even greater strides. It was the Ngobeses who clocked in the fastest time for BBAC – 2:8:55.
In the 56km full marathon, Anetia Ehlers, Jean Nxumalo, Sanele Nxumalo and Collet van Zyl all completed the course with Sanele finishing in a time of 4:44:11 and was named as the top BBAC athlete.
Ken Vorster of BBAC said the club is ‘certainly on the move’ and is proud of all members.
