Aloe Park and surrounding areas is still without water, from Saturday morning.
Water returned to other parts yesterday evening (April 10).
Since Saturday morning, residents of Aloe Park and surrounding areas have been without water due to uThukela experiencing problems at the Abattoir Hill booster pump station.
According to uThukela, they had four power interruptions at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Plant on Sunday (April 9), which aggravated the situation.

According to uThukela, the matter is receiving attention and all relevant personnel are attending to the problem. Water will be restored once the problem has been resolved.
uThukela appeals to the community to bear with them. “Your patience and understanding in the matter is appreciated,” said uThukela spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza.
