Cricket action increases as season draws to a close

Ace chased down the total in 8 overs

Action is heating up in the cricket leagues as the season slowly draws closer to an end. Teams are battling it out for the semi final spots in the T20 League and the title of Saturday 30 Over League Champions are still up for grabs.
Umzinyathi Development vs Tigers – T20
Tigers batted first and made 112 thanks to 36 from Vernen and 22 from Saeed. Oniel took 3/8 and Mohammed took 3/23 for Umzinyathi. In reply they were bowled out for 78. Mohammed top scored with 19 and Rakesh made 16. Amith took 3/11 and Shaun took 2/12 for Tigers as they picked up the win.
Umzinyathi Development vs Ace Eagles – T20
Umzinyathi batted first and were bowled out for 82. Akeel top scored with 22 while Shervive made 12. Ace then chased down the total in 8 overs. Udien made 41 and Safwaan made 15. Udeshan took 1/18 and Oniel took 1/19 but it wasn’t enough to stop the Eagle’s soaring.
Molls vs Ace Eagles – Saturday 30 Overs
Molls batted first and made 164 all out. Henery top scored with 56 and Eugene made 26. Ashraf took 3/24 and Imtiaaz took 2/10. Ace chased down the total with 3 wickets to spare. Labeeb top scored with 51 and Yusheer wasn’t far behind with his knock of 40. Wilfred took 4/34 and Arman took 2/52 as Molls tried in vain to claim the win.
