Mother taken in for questioning after missing Baby is found unharmed

The mother of the missing Durban baby, Siwaphiwe Mbambo, has been arrested.

According to TimesLIVE, a police spokesperson close to the investigation, confirmed that the mother was taken in for questioning.

Siwaphiwe was taken in an apparent hijacking near the City View shopping centre in Greyville‚ Durban on Friday.

The vehicle was later recovered but the pram, car seat and baby bag had been removed.

Numerous people started searches for the baby, while others prayed for her safe return.

Siwaphiwe was found in the early hours of Sunday morning after police intercepted a vehicle travelling on the N3 at the Marianhill Toll Plaza.
