Ladysmith police nab third drug dealer this week

The drugs have an estimated street value of over R10 000

This morning (March 4), police officers from the Ladysmith Visible Policing Unit and Ladysmith K9 Unit nabbed a 23-year-old man who had a small quantity of various types of drugs on him.

The man was allegedly trading from a  premises in the Leonardsville residential area.

A tip-off led officers to his premises, where he was found to be in possession of rock cocaine, crystal meth and “cat”, as well as a small amount of ecstasy tablets.

The drugs have an estimated street value of over R10,000.

He faces charges of being in possession of illegal substances and is due to appear in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court early next week.
