Madadeni Crime Prevention members arrested a 36-year-old man for being in possession of 42 mandrax tablets while conducting a stop-and-search operation in Madadeni, Section 6 on February 1.
According to reports, the mandrax were valued at R1 200.
The suspect appeared in the Madadeni Magistrate’s Court on February 2.
Madadeni SAPS Station Commander Colonel F. Alexander applauded the Crime Prevention members for their great work.
“Members of the public are urged to report to Police regarding any form of drug dealing and usage in Madadeni area.”
