Golf Business League in full swing

Prizes for nearest the pin on the short holes went to....

On Saturday the lady golfers at Dundee Country Club organised a Valentines competition in the form of a combined stableford, with a hidden partner. Wining the day with 73 points was the pairing of Bertie Venter and Rob Streak. Shakeel Kalideen and Churchill Maphanga came in second with 70 points while the pairing of Kevin Donaldson and Richard Catlett finished in third place on 68 points.

Prizes for nearest the pin on the short holes went to: M Gardner No.4; M Nero No.8; S Kalideen No.12 and D Donaldson on hole No.16. Mark Nero was the only player to record a 2 Club on the day, while Bertie Venter was the sole winner of the Jackpot. Well done guys! The Wednesday Business League is almost at the halfway stage, and Richard Catlett’s Amabongolo Team remain unbeaten and on top of the log with maximum points after easily beating Deb’s Embroidery team 46-40.

Morning Dew Chickens won their second game in a row when victorious 43-39 over The Shed to move into second place just one point behind the Amabongolo team. The OK Value team moved into third position just above The Shed, after they managed to beat Farmers Agri-Care 44-41. This weeks fixtures: Wednesday, Business League at 4pm; Friday, 10 Hole Meat Competition and on Saturday the Club competition will be an I.P.S. event.
