A new year for the Watch

THE 2016 year was a busy one for Vryheid Neighbourhood Watch, with very little time to rest for the dedicated patrolling members.

Criminals don’t take a break during the festive season and neither did Neighbourhood Watch, as they continued with regular patrols to safeguard the community from crime over the Christmas period.

However, after the trials and tribulations of the past year, a day was set aside in mid-January for Vryheid Neighbourhood Watch members and their families to get together and enjoy a few hours of rest and relaxation at Red Robbin.

“Baie dankie aan almal wat by ons funksie was by Red Robbin,” said Chairman, Andrè Rheder.

“Die jaar is verby,” he continued.
