CAT lover, Thea Erasmus, is desperately hoping for the return of one of her precious fur-babies, Cake. Cake, a five month old striped kitten, recently escaped from Dr Theron’s veterinary practice when she was taken in to be sterilised.

Cake, a five month old striped kitten, recently escaped from Dr Theron’s veterinary practice when she was taken in to be sterilised.
“Our cats are very special to us and they have a special story,” said Thea.
“Last year, we discovered an abandoned female cat that was in terrible condition on a farm in Louwsberg. We took care of her and, with our love, she has grown into a beautiful cat. Five months ago she had four lovely kittens that crept into our hearts, three boys and one girl.
“Last Friday, we took the cats to the vet for sterilisation and Cake escaped. We are concerned that she is only accustomed to our house and life on the farm. We urge anybody who might find her to please contact me on 084 520 4266, or take her in to Dr Theron’s practice. Dr Theron is offering a R2 000 reward for her safe return. Please, Cake is very special to us.”
