DHS Brainiacs receive colours at academic colour awards

High expectations for 2017 - DHS begins with a bang!

Dundee High started the year with much enthusiasm as the school congratulates top achievers for term 4 in 2016. They are: Asanda Massalia Gr8 (87%), Sisanda Thango Gr9 (93%), Karl Thom Gr10 (93%) and Mercia Papazaharias Gr11 (86%).
The following learners also received their colours and honours certificates this week.
These certificates were based on their year average. The learners were as follows:
Grade 8: Half Colours were achieved by Asanda Massalia and Stefan Thom for having a 85% or higher for the year.
Grade 9: Sisanda Thango and Nadia Raffenberg both received honours for having an average of 90% or higher for the year. Well done!
Ayaz Bula, Rebekka Bohmer and Monique Arends received Full Colours for having an average of 85% – 90%.
Grade 10: Karl Thom, Keshmiel Govender and Philasande Mdletshe all received Honours for having an average of above 85%.
Sithembiso Ndwandwe and Kiana Sadaw received full colours for achieving an average of 80% – 85%.
Grade 11: Mercia Papazaharias and Mthobisi Zondo received Honours for having an average of above 85% and Dylan Mare received full colours for obtaining 82% for the year.
DHS is extremely proud of these learners with their outstanding results and look forward to what 2017 holds in store for these young academics.

DHS Atletieksterre skitter op die veld

Vrydag, 20 Januarie, het Hoërskool Dundee die jaarlikse atletiekbyeenkoms by die skool gehad. Vol gees en opgewondenheid het energieke leerders die sportveld aangedurf. Die dag het gesorg vir hope pret en natuurlik ook fantastiese resultate.
