Suspects nabbed for attempted theft of copper pipes

It is alleged that the complainant was in her yard when she noticed two unknown men at her neighbour's house, trying to cut the copper pipes.

PIONEER PARK – Two suspects aged 48 and 21 were arrested for attempted theft which took place in Pioneer Park on January 11.

It is alleged that the complainant was in her yard when she noticed two unknown men at her neighbour’s house, trying to cut the copper pipes.

Police were summoned and the suspects were arrested. They appeared in Newcastle Magistrate’s Court on January 12. Investigation continues.
