Overgrown verges continue to soar

Unsightly and overgrown verges are taking over some streets in Estcourt.

In most residential and town streets knee-high weeds are invading the sidewalks and most residents are wondering when Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality will embark on the verge trimming project.

This question was posed to the municipality on October 28 as well as again last week.

No formal response has been received but it has been noticed that verge trimming commenced along the Princess Park road.
