How to safely spoil your pet during the festive season

As serious animal lovers, we must always remember that not everything that’s fun for people is safe for pets! Here are a few ideas to make your pets feel special without putting them at risk…

1- Spoil them with love and attention
At a busy time like Christmas, pets sometimes get less attention than usual and are left home alone more often. So even if you are frantically busy, find the time to make a fuss over them.

2- Spoil them with suitable treats
Let your pets know you love them by giving them special pet-friendly treats while the human family enjoys all the rich festive food. Remember, people food is almost never good for pets and holiday food is no exception. Don’t give them your leftovers as a treat. Rather give them proper, safe pet treats.

3- Give them gifts
As a special member of the family, your pet deserves at least one small gift under the tree, doesn’t he? Perhaps his bed is looking a bit shabby or he needs a new blanket. Maybe his chew toy has been chewed one time too many or it’s time for a new collar or leash.
