Friday saw the annual Boere/Brit/Zulu bowls day being played. Fourteen players braved the heat and enjoyed a wonderful day of fun and awesome fellowship.
Johnson and Johnson triumphed at the end with father, Des, winning the day on 44 and son, Kevin, in second place on 37. Jacques Bierbaum was third on 32. All bowlers, business league players and friends and family, please take note of the following: On December 31, the club will see in 2017 on the bowling green. Entry fee is R50 which includes a plate of oxtail potjie. Play will start at 10:30pm and the club will be open from 9.30pm.
