1 dead in horror crash on N11
The driver of the Toyota died in the accident and three people sustained minor injuries
One life was lost in an accident on the N11 near the Pepworth turn-off today (December 18).
The accident saw two cars and a truck colliding.
It is believed that a Toyota collided head-on with a truck, and then another vehicle hit the Toyota from behind.
EMRS and Sharaj Rescue Service paramedics had to use the jaws of life to free one of the drivers who was trapped in the wreckage.
The driver of the Toyota was declared dead and three people sustained minor injuries.
Forensic personnel, SAPS, MLM mortuary staff, RTI, ER24 and towing services were on scene.
