Edrich crowned KZN’s top wrestler

The fruit of 12 months of hard work and long hours of practice were reaped at the annual KZN provincial wrestling award ceremony where members of the local Rhino Club featured prominently.
The ceremony was held in Richards Bay on Saturday which was attended by JJ du Plessis, Willem Husselman and Edrich Nortje who all received certificates for accumulated league points, as well as various trophies. Edrich was also honoured as the KZN wrestler of the year.
JJ was awarded a silver certificate and also received a trophy for winning two medals at the South African championships.
Willem received a gold certificate and a trophy for winning more than two medals at the South African championships.
Edrich also received a gold certificate, as well as a trophy for international participation, and winning more than two medals at the South African championships.
Other wrestlers of the Northern Natal Rhino club, who could not attend this ceremony, will receive their awards at their club.
