15-year-old Shahil Salikram lost his life after a car crashed into a palisade fence and overturned in Foxglove Avenue on Monday (December 12).
The driver and a passenger were critically injured, having sustained multiple injuries.
Medics desperately attempted to resuscitate Shahil, but their attempts failed and he was declared dead.
The other youngster who was in the car is still in critical condition in hospital.
Shahil’s funeral will take place today (December 13). The body will lie in state at 21 Viola Road, Acaciavale, and will thereafter proceed to the crematorium at 3pm.
He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
