Time Trial pace heat up

The time trialists were greeted with a wonderful surprise...

2km Ladies Walk: Ragani Soobramoney – 19m24s finished ahead of Vem Sewmangal – 19m26s and Lani van der Mescht – 19m53s.
2km Walk/ Jog Ladies: Anri Maree – 15m22s.
2km Boys Run: Krushil Sewmangal – 10m20s crossed the line ahead of Suheshan Soobramoney – 10m27s (PB), with Taashlin Soobramoney coming in third with a time of 10m43s (PB).
2km Boys Walk/ Jog: Ruuvlin Soobramoney -18m53s.
2km Men’s Walk: Pieter Bester – 19m53s.
8km Run Men’s: Joe Khumalo finished first in a time of 31m50s with Lindani Sangweni – 33m30s coming in second. Petrus Mavuso’s time could not be taken after he tore his calf muscle.
The time trialists were greeted with a wonderful surprise when Dundee High School English teacher, Vem Sewmangal, and her son, Krushil, joined Time Trials. Ragani won the 2km ladies walk event followed by her sister Vem, who did well for her first time. Lani wasn’t far behind in third. Anri walked and jogged a credible time. Krushil ran a cracking time on debut and won the 2km boys run event. Suheshan and Taashlin both smashed their PB’s. Lindani saw himself running a good time in the men’s 8km run.
