Business bowls league gets into top gear

Lots of prizes up for grabs - overall winner, best dressed, etc.

Fedauto Business League
The Fedauto Business League is now well under way and Willie Nel and his mighty warriors have made an impressive start with four wins from four.
They are closely followed by Omnia and the Moths who are two points behind. Five more teams are a further two points back waiting to pounce if the leaders slip up. The top three teams are as follows: Willie Nel 8+27, Omnia 6+19, Moths 6+15. There will be one more round of two games and then they will break and resume on January 26 2017.

Suzette Cup
The Suzette Cup was played on Saturday and six local teams entered. Results of the Suzette Cup 2016: First: Nan, Lourens and Des on 31+36. Second: Hannelie, Carl and Dirk on 25+16. Thrid: Essie, Dougie and Louis on 19-2. Congratulations to all and a big thank you to sponsor Essie Slabbert.

Boer/Brit/Zulu Fun day
On the December 16, the club will be hosting a Boer/Brit/Zulu fun bowls day.
Lots of prizes up for grabs – overall winner, best dressed, etc. Entry fee for the day will be R30.
There will be a bring-and-share lunch so pack your baskets and enjoy a hearty meal and day of bowls together. In the evening, for those that believe they belong on the Voice SA, Jacques will have his Karaoke system up and running and again. You might not win a singing contract, but you can win a prize. Fires will be lit if you feel like braaing.
Then remember that Friday’s from 3:30pm onwards is sunset bowls. Beginners, oldies, all are welcome to come roll a bit and enjoy a social refreshment afterwards.

A Boer/Brit/Zulu fun bowls day will be hosted this December.
