The world is coming to an end?

The Ladysmith Gazette asked a few religious leaders what they think...

Are you wondering whether these are the ‘End Times’?

Just look at the strange weather patterns in town and around the world: floodings, drought, hurricanes and the like… It’s not difficult to see why people are thinking that all these ‘signs’ point towards the ‘End of the World’.

With this in mind, the Ladysmith Gazette asked a few religious leaders what they think…

“Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, had these amazing statements regarding the End Times. ‘And great earthquakes… and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from Heaven’ – Luke 21:11. Therefore, I believe that the extreme weather patterns are one of the major prophetic signs that we are living in the very last days, as mentioned in the Bible,” said Pastor Delano of Sinai Ministries.

“Human beings have become materialistic and less conscious of God. Whatever destruction is happening on earth is the doing of mankind. Almighty Allah is sending all sorts of signs, so one should be more God-conscious and reconnect with Him. We should also stay away from oppression and be loving towards each other,” said Moulana Saleem Karrim.

“It is the End Times. The Heavens are upset and all that is happening now is going to get worse,” said Professor Sanele.

The Hindu pundits we asked do not believe in the End Times.
