An 80-year-old woman was attacked in her home today (November 10) in Da Gama Street, Van Riebeeck Park.
Two men brutally attacked the 80-year-old, kicking her in the face.
The elderly woman, who has been described as sickly and unwell, was repeatedly beaten by the men.
The family’s domestic worker happened to arrive as she was being attacked.
When her attackers saw the domestic worker, they fled the scene.
A massive manhunt is underway for the two callous criminals, involving the K9 Unit and other officers.
