Local ladies light up the courts in Durban

Amanda Petersen and Stefanie Schwartz recently shuttled off to Durban, badminton racquets in hand, to take part in the 2016 SA Woodroffe Cup.

The pair won the cup in the B Section for the KZN team and went on to win the Ladies’ Doubles Championship.

Following a gruelling week of badminton in Durban, Amanda was seeded first and Stefanie second, with an overall grading of fifth and sixth respectively. Amanda was selected for the 2017 SA Challengers B Team.
