Five injured in Allen Street collision
The occupants of the taxi were transported to hospital to receive further medical care.
Five people were injured this afternoon (November 9), after a mini bus taxi and a Toyota Fortuner collided on Allen Street.
According to witnesses at the scene, municipal Fire Services were requested, as the five occupants of the taxi were trapped inside the vehicle.

All emergency services were on scene, and paramedics transported the occupants to hospital to be treated for minor, moderate and serious injuries.
Myra van der Merwe of ER24 commended all services for their fast response and help on the scene.
The exact cause of the collision is yet to be determined, and the case remains subject to police investigations.
