Two rapists are behind bars after they were arrested over the weekend by Ladysmith K9 officers.
On Friday night, a 22-year-old woman was gang-raped by three men in the Umbulwane area.
She was walking a friend home when she was grabbed by the three men, who then took her to a house nearby where she was raped and assaulted.
When K9 officers were informed of the incident, they wasted no time in tracking down and arresting two of the three suspects.
The two men arrested, who are brothers, appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court yesterday (November 7).
Police are still searching for the third suspect.
