NEWCASTLE – EFF leader, Julius Malema, has made his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court.
We reported earlier today that Malema has been charged with allegedly inciting, instigating, commanding or procuring his Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) followers and/or others to commit crime, to wit, trespass, in contravention of Section 1 (1) of the Trespass Act 6 of 1959 by illegally occupying any vacant land whenever they found some in June this year.
Reporters on scene indicated the scene is quiet for now, as the courtroom slowly fills up with EFF supporters.
They are still awaiting the arrival of the Magistrate.
