Local Glasfit donates the most in Can-A-Kilo project
Ladysmith Glasfit raised the most cans, with over 5000 raised
When Glasfit joined forces with actor Ivan Zimmermann on his extraordinary journey to raise funds for an important cause. To feed the needy, they jumped to help the cause. He cycled a whopping 12,280km from Beijing to Istanbul between 15 May and 5 October this year.
His aim was simple. He asked for donations – a can of food for every kilometre he cycled.
To support Ivan’s inspiring mission, Glasfit placed donation bins at Glasfit fitment centres nationwide, giving their customers a chance to be part of the project and make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Ladysmith Glasfit raised the most cans among the various Glasfit franchises, with over 5000 cans raised.
