Two men and a woman implicated in the brutal murder in July last year of Rekha Govender are currently appearing in the Dundee Regional Court.
It is understood at least one of the accused will plead guilty. The three accused are Cassim Alijan (33), Michelle Gaskin and accused number three, Mohammed Alijan (29). Gaskin was granted bail last year but the two brothers were kept in custody.
Rekha was found dead in her Browning Street home on July 2 last year. An electrical cord had been wrapped around her neck.
At least two of the men were being held for the murder of brutal murders of Piet Marè and Venktas Govender in Dannhauser in September.
Mondli Gamede and Bonginkosi Cyril Sithebe made a break for freedom after cutting a hole in the ceiling of their cell and managing, seemingly without detection, throw a jacket over the five-metre razor wire, and jump down into Grey Street.
The other men included Lethukuthula Shabalala and Bongani Kubheka. All five were later arrested and taken to Ncome Prison where they have been in custody ever since.
The case is continuing.
